- a bracelet with a clasp; and
- a "cuff" bracelet that does not have a clasp and fits snugly but with room to adjust to your wrist size and desired position.
For bracelets with a clasp and using a flexible tape measure, take a measurement of your wrist at the point you want the bracelet to rest. For a close but not tight fit of the bracelet add 1” (one inch). If you prefer that the bracelet ‘dangle’ enticingly from your wrist, add another ¼” to your measured size.
For a cuff style (no clasp) take a measurement at the point you want the bracelet to rest.

The photo below shows a clasped bracelet (on the left) and a 'Cuff" bracelet (on the right). The Cuff bracelet will allow you to move the bracelet on and around the wrist because the wire is flexible enough to allow you to position it on your lower arm where you wish. You may want to add a 1/4 to 1/2 inch to your measurement if you want the flexibility of moving the cuff.
The clasped bracelet is more likely to stay in place and can be measured as indicated above.
